Samantha Alipio, Project Manager
Sam is a PHR certified process optimization specialist who has dedicated more than four years to providing human resources, corporate recruiting, and operational support to Resolvit’s teams across the country. A native New Yorker, she graduated with summa cum laude honors from the University of Albany where she received several awards for her research and academic efforts. Sam has played the upright bass for over 15 years and loves discovering new music. Now a resident of New Orleans, she enjoys honing her cooking skills, making costumes, and exploring the local culinary scene.
Doug Barry, Copy Editor
started as a copy editing intern in late 2013 before joining Resolvit’s corporate office full time the following January. His undying devotion to the Oxford comma has helped him to edit technical texts as well as write long, discursive, and occasionally diverting articles for the Resolvit Grapevine blog. Before joining the team, Doug wrote for several different blogs about a variety of pop culture subjects and visited the local nickelodeon (that’s an old-timey word for movie theater) whenever a particularly gratuitous horror movie was playing. He now spends his time away from the office browsing indecisively through his overstuffed Netflix queue and trying to keep his two ne’er-do-well cats from jumping into his refrigerator.
Andy Tisdel, Copy Editor
began his Resolvit career in November 2014 as a copy editor. He is a native Milwaukeean, earned a bachelor’s degree in English from the College of Wooster (Ohio), and is an alumnus of Americorps*NCCC/FEMA Corps. In his role on the New Orleans team, he edits technical resumes, writes blog posts, and occasionally sources for candidates. Outside the workplace, he enjoys writing, reading, cooking, live music (as opposed to dead), watching football, biking, learning, and exploring his new home. Andy is currently working on a historical novel about 9th-century Vikings and Franks, set in what is now France, Belgium, and the Netherlands.
Austin Broussard, Copy Editor
joined the Resolvit team as a copy editor after receiving his Bachelor’s degree in English Writing from Loyola University. Before becoming a Resolvit wordsmith, he ran a section of Loyola’s newspaper, the Maroon, called “The Works,” which consisted of student-submitted fiction and art. Austin also worked as an intern for the New Orleans Review literary magazine, and in April of 2014, his original work won Loyola’s Dawson Gaillard literary award for playwriting. Austin’s talents are not only limited to the grammatical arts; he also dabbles in the theatre, where he held a lead role in Lee Blessing’s Patient A, which was nominated for the 2014 Big Easy Theatre award in the university production category. Apart from his accolades, Austin only owns two dress shirts and one pair of slacks—because of this, he understands the importance of making oneself look good on paper.
