Resolvit has been able to meet the requirements of the client’s management by supplying specific consulting expertise with Mercury Test Director and Quick Test Pro tools. Resolvit has provided consulting services to the client’s Configuration Management Group, and delivered Rational Clearcase, Rational Clearquest and PVCS Dimensions software packages. Resolvit has worked within the Server Administration Group by providing UNIX Admin Support. Our consultant had a strong background with various UNIX platforms including HP, SUN and AIX. Multi-Billion Dollar Insurance Provider Project: - In-Language E-Commerce Development
Situation:
The client needed to launch a fully-functional, transactional Spanish language website quickly and turned to Resolvit for expertise to minimize the learning curve. This highly visible, customer facing application required rigorous validation to minimize risk. A Resolvit team of five testers brought to the engagement a thorough understanding of the Software Development Cycle, a comprehensive knowledge of Testing Tools, and bilingual language skills. In addition, the team had expertise in XML and SQL queries. Resolvit performed Requirements Definition, reviewed documentation to clarify issues, recommended improvements, and developed the Quality Assurance Testing plan in Spanish. The test plans were executed in multiple stages. The first stage tested the web page from the starting point through the process of getting an automated quote. The next stage tested the customer process of purchasing an actual policy. An important part of the testing included verification of the back-end interfaces and systems that support the sales and service of insurance policies. Resolvit’s efforts reduced costs and increase productivity by providing experienced consultants who could work quickly and accomplish the objectives. |
